Request for a Mayoral Proclamation
Proclamations from the office of Jacksonville Mayor Andy Ezard are issued to recognize and commemorate special occasions and significant community and individual achievements that reflect positive importance on our City.
A requestor may reqest the proclamation to be read by the Mayor at a City Council meeting or at a special occasion or a community event, at the discretion of the Mayor's schedule.
To have a proclamation issued, please submit the following:
• Draft of exact wording of the proclamation
• Date to be proclaimed
• Date proclamation is needed by
• Delivery of signed proclamation: by mail, in-person pick up at Mayor's
Office, or by Mayor at the reading if his schedule allows
• Requestor's name, address, cell phone and email address
Requests should be submitted two weeks in advance of the date the proclamation is needed by.
