The City of Jacksonville will be seeking applicants for the position of police officer.  Pre-employment registration cards are currently being accepted. You may complete this by filling in the information below.

Testing Process

There will be 3 separate opportunities to take the Power Test hosted at the Jacksonville Police Department, 200 W Douglas Ave, on the following dates:
April 15, 2023
May 6, 2023
June 3, 2023
Check-in for the Power Test will begin at 8am and the doors will shut at 9am. The Testing Process will begin promptly at 9am
You are not required to fill out a Pre-Employment Application prior to the date of the test; however, it is preferred.
A current Photo ID is required upon signing in for the Power Test.
*It is recommended to dress appropriately for physical activity.

If you pass the Power Test, you will receive an application at the end of the test. The application needs to be returned and post marked by
June 19, 2023.

The written test will be on June 24, 2023 at the Jacksonville Regional Training Facility.

Must be between 21-34 Years of Age

US Citizen and/or an alien admitted for
